Manuelle Netzwerkkonfiguration unter Ubuntu / Debian

Zum Prüfen, ob der Netzwerkadapter erfolgreich geladen und gebunden wurde

# lspci

Wenn die Karte neu hinzugekommen ist, mit

# ifconfig eth# up

schauen ob das Interface gestartet werden kann.

Die IP-Konfiguration wird mittels der Datei /etc/network/interfaces vorgenommen.
Wenn der Adapter für DHCP konfiguriert wurde, sieht die Datei folgendermaßen aus

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

# The primary network interface
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet dhcp

Bei einer manuellen Vergabe der IP-Adresse
